Never meet your heroes, because you'll tell them that they've been your hero since 2007 and they'll immediately ask if there's something wrong with you. Or maybe that was just my experience meeting the members of Silversun Pickups during their February 19th show at the Knitting Factory. Either way, your blogger has been listening to Silversun Pickups since before she got braces in middle school.
The last time Silversun Pickups brought their brand of elder millennial shoegaze to Boise, their lead singer definitely did not fall off the stage and break his elbow. The good news is that this show did not result in any broken bones, but MM208 can confirm that all the faces in the sold-out crowd were melted off. Check out “Cannibal”, it'll end up on all your daily playlists. Also their opener, Hello Mary, will be back to distort your socks off at Treefort next month! Check them out and go see them bring the Treasure Valley to its knees.
