Jinjer hitting the big stage at RV Inn Amphitheater to kick off “The Take Back Your Life Tour” with groove metal all the way from the Ukraine. Opening with Perennial and playing one of my person favorites, I Speak Astronomy. They continue to prove they are one of the top metal artists out there.
Breaking Benjamin started their set off with Failure, off their latest album Aurora, and dug through their catalog playing songs like Red Cold River, So Cold and closing with Diary of Jane.
Disturbed taking you back to the early 2000s and proving Nu Metal is still alive and well. David Draiman still hits all the notes and makes you feel like it was just yesterday that their debut album, The Sickness, was released. They captivated the audience with a wide range of songs throughout their catalog playing songs like Hey You, The Game and Rise. As they left the stage the crowd chanted “encore, encore” they returned to the stage to play 3 more, one being Down With the Sickness and the crowd erupted singing every word to the song and then closed out with Inside the Fire, funny being they had fire on stage going for the majority of their set.
